Modernising Florists
Born out of a need for technologically sophisticated, but easy-to-use software for florists who have had access to little-to-no innovation for half a decade.
The Story
Gemma's a busy florist, owning Booker Flowers & Gifts in Liverpool since 2010. Gemma and her team were frustrated by the inadequacies of available software, they found themselves drowning in orders and paperwork, a problem that exacerbated during peaks, which left little time for her true passion — creating floral masterpieces and delighting her customers.
Gemma began her search for a better solution, when Gemma met Lewis, a software engineer for whom no challenge was too great. They then embarked on a quest to build an order management system that could stand up to the times. Their collaboration led to the creation of a system not just for Gemma, but one that addressed the universal pain points of florists everywhere.
Gemma and her team took their time to put the software through its paces, especially at peaks, making sure it could solve all the challenges of a busy florist. After over a year of refinement, the software was made available to all Florists offering them the chance to streamline their operations and rediscover the joy and artistry of their work.
